Privacy statement

Version 1.0 · effective 16 October 2026

Daylit handles personal data with care. We collect no more than necessary, use no trackers and never sell data. Below you can read exactly what we do.

This is a translation of the Dutch privacyverklaring. If the two versions differ, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for the processing of your data is BBJL B.V., trading as Daylit, Graafschap 5, 5431 DE Cuijk, Chamber of Commerce 81004311. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@daylit.nl.

If you place personal data on your hosting yourself, for example of visitors to your site, you are responsible for it and we are the processor. Our data processing agreement applies to that, not this statement.

2. Visitors to daylit.nl

3. When you contact us

If you email us, we use your name, email address and the content of your message to reply. If you ask to be kept informed about Daylit's launch, we send you one or a few messages about it. We keep your email as long as needed to handle it, and no longer than two years after the last contact, unless you become a customer.

4. Customers

If you become a customer, we process:

We do this to perform the agreement (deliver the service, invoice, inform you about renewals and outages), to meet legal obligations (such as tax record keeping) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and improving our service.

5. Who we share data with

We only share data when necessary:

Our servers are in the Netherlands. We do not transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area.

6. How long we keep data

7. Security

We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections, networks separated by function, restricted access, automatic security updates and daily backups.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict processing, object, and have your data transferred. Send your request to info@daylit.nl. We respond within one month. We may ask you to prove your identity so that we do not give data to the wrong person.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please let us know. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9. Changes

We may update this statement when our service or the law changes. The latest version is always on this page. We notify customers of important changes by email.
